Office Closure Notice

Seattle Academy will exist closed from Fri, April 15th through Mon, April 18th in ascertainment of Easter. We will resume our normal office hours on Tuesday, April 19th.

Spring Quarter 2022 Updates

Open Monday - Friday from eight:30 am - 4:30 pm (Remote on Fridays)

Each counselor has dissimilar days they will be working in the part and remotely, which is noted by appointment type on their Bookings agenda.

We are only allowing one person per engagement. If you would similar whatever guests with yous (similar parents/family members), you tin book a virtual or phone appointment.

However, if you take any specific accommodations (such as a translator or aide) and need to run across in-person, delight contact u.s.a. past email, so we tin work out how to best serve yous.

About the ASAC

The Arts and Sciences Advising Center (ASAC) is a centralized advising role that provides developmental academic advising and educational assistance to undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff in the Higher of Arts and Sciences. It is staffed past professional academic advisors who are bachelor on a drop-in basis and for scheduled appointments.

Mission

The ASAC is dedicated to the holistic academic and professional formation of electric current and prospective students through academic advising and promotion of academic excellence. ASAC staff are dedicated to helping students identify and celebrate their ain educational and personal skills and abilities. ASAC staff work to solve problems, provide navigational guidance, and build connections for students, alumni, kinesthesia, and staff.

Vision

ASAC staff aspire to:

  • Create an office where students can share their experiences and know that they are not alone.
  • Arrange to the intersectional and changeable identities and needs of the different constituencies that nosotros serve.
  • Model accountability, honesty, and humility and teach students, faculty, and staff how to effectively navigate Seattle University.
  • Create a customs of care and a friendly surroundings.
  • Aid students learn more well-nigh themselves – personally, academically, and professionally – so that they can get the most out of their educational experience and are prepared for the rest of their lives.
  • Be innovative, creative, and at the frontier of best practices in bookish advising.
